How to set up #thelazyherbbox

Step 1: Place the herb box down, add most of the soil mix and set enough aside to add aa small layer on top to cover the seeds

Step 2: Sprinkle the seeds throughout the herb box

Step 3: Add the rest of the soil mix on top and spread the seeds over evenly

Step 4: Lightly water the soil (you could use a spray bottle for this)

Step 5: Fill up your water globe and place into the soil at an angle (if placed up right the soil will block the tube)

Voila! Your self watering LazyHerbBox is complete

Friendly Reminders:

  • Do not keep your watering globe upright, this will block the tube with soil.

  • Do not touch your globe when it has been placed into the soil. The water will last between 4-7 days weather dependant, but will empty quicker if moved around.

  • Top up when the globe has emptied however, if the soil seems overly moist simply let it dry out until more water is needed.

  • Keep the box in direct sunlight, ideally on a window shelf.

  • Please wait 2-8 weeks for the seeds to germinate, dependent on herb type.

Launching a new business and a product is a crazy world wind time. There is so much to learn but we are here for it, and look forward to where this journey could take us.

Our minds had been opened to the possibility of learning to harvest our own food in the comfort of our garden and home. We always thrive on a clean and healthy diet and so why not grow our own vegetables and herbs for a real farm-to-table experience without the spending costs.

When learning more about bad quality food, and the growing process with potential spraying of pesticides, we thought that there would be no better way than to start growing our own food for maximum benefits. Currently, we have a tiny herb garden on our windowsill, but in the future, we plan to have acres of land filled with fruits and vegetables.

Dan and I wanted to launch The Forest Belle to help this become a reality, and the name 'The Forest Belle' was born from our love of our dog Bella.

By launching #TheLazyHerbBox, our aim is to encourage more people to want to grow an indoor garden suitable for your windowsill, not only for the benefits, but also to save you money in the long run, and to make it as accessable as possible with everything you need in one place. We've also made it even easier by providing you with the self-watering globes - So you can leave your herb garden to thrive even when you go on holiday.

On our blog and social media platforms, you will see lots of tips, tricks, new products, content and maybe some funny videos 😄

Follow along here or on our instgram, TikTok and Pinterest to watch our journey.
